Hip-Hop legend LL Cool J is back at it. It has been 4 years since Exit 13, his final release on Def Jam Recordings – the only label LL has ever been signed to. Though the legendary MC has been busy with acting in TV hit show NCIS: Los Angeles and exploring different business ventures, he has now found time to return to the studio. Mr. Ladies Love is currently working on his 13th album: Authentic Hip-Hop. In an interview with XXL last June LL stated that he will be taking it back to the roots of real authentic hip-hop, with a 2012 twist. An official release date for the album has yet to be announced.
To keep fans entertained, LL released a track from the upcoming album titled Take It. The joint is produced by Trackmasters and features R&B crooner Joe.
